We were lucky enough to be at the farm on 1st of June, the opening of the vegetable selling season.
Of course there were all the last minute things to be done.
Mike helping Eliot with some of the shop fittings.
Barbara doing some last minute weeding.
Bagging up salad in the large, heated, fixed tunnel known as 'Garfield'.
Pickers bringing in produce from the field.
Signs up and ready for customers.
There were 20 different things for sale including a large box of delicious ripe tomatoes
and some green peppers and remember this farm is just about in Canada - a fantastic achievement.
Barbara's bunches of flowers.
New potatoes.
Cucumbers, spring onions, celery and beets.
Delightful hand crafted baskets made by prisoners.
